Authorities are probing the death of a Galway man. They were called to a home on Hermance Road at about 3:30 Monday morning for a report of man with stab wounds. Officers were unable to save his life. The sheriff told WNYT Monday the woman who lives at the home was being interviewed.

A new COVID-19 drive-thru mobile testing center opened in Albany Monday on Washington Avenue. It will prioritize tests for people who are among the highest risk population.Area residents who want to be tested must make an appointment by calling 888-364-3065. There will be no walk-ins allowed and all patients must be in a vehicle.
