Vin Le Soir: Wine Tasting to benefit AIM Services

Due to the pandemic, Vin le Soir, is moving to everyone’s house on the evening of November 4th!

Pick up your dinner package for two, curbside at Longfellows Restaurant. The dinner package for two including an Argentinian themed 3-course meal with two bottles of CaliVista wine. When you return home, join Executive Director Christopher Lyons, and Senior Executive Director, June MacClelland through live video as they take you on a journey to Argentina through food, wine, music and dance.

Brian “the wine guy” Gwynn of Specialty Wines & More and President of AIM’s Board of Directors, will introduce hand selected Argentinian wines, beautifully paired to the evening’s Argentinian fare. The event includes musical and dance performances, tango dance instruction, a behind the scenes look into the cuisine with the chef, and the presentation of the much-anticipated annual AIM Video. Concluding the evening is a raffle of an Adirondack Themed Getaway Package for two in Lake Placid, NY.

First Course
Locro – Argentinian stew made with corn, bean, potatoes, squash and pork drizzled with chimichurri sauce

Second Course
Argentinian Mixed Grill – Pasilla seasoned skirt steak, mojo marinated chicken and house made chorizo served with chimichurri sauce accompanied by berenjenas en escabeche (marinated eggplant) and rosemary polenta

Third Course
Flan Dulce de Leche – Vanilla custard with homemade caramel

Dinner Packages are for two adults. Must be age 21+ for the wine.
